Wong and Osorio accepting the 2022 Micheaux award for Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy

“Color Your World,” produced and directed by Bailey Ardies, wins Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy at the 2022 Micheaux Film Festival! The film stars Bailey Ardies, Raechel Wong, and William Osorio and involves a VR program test subject as she sinks further and further into her manufactured ideal life… until everything goes wrong.

Osorio and Wong accepted the award on behalf of Ardies. “Thank you to the Micheaux Film Festival… This is a big win for women in sci-fi, thank you!” said Wong. The sci-fi genre has historically been a male-dominated genre, and Micheaux has given a platform for female representation in science fiction production.
